1.) A street in Charlottesville, home of the University of Virginia. Rugby Road is home to most of the University's greek system. Running away from the Rotunda, past the Mad Bowl, and on beyond Beta Bridge, Rugby Road is a Mecca for First through Fourth years in search of good times and free beer on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
2.) Rugby Road is also the name of a rather infamous UVA drinking song. Students of all walks of life sing the bawdy tune, a parody of Georgia Tech's fight song, from Frat Parties to the Virginia Pep Band's notorious gatherings. Other drinking songs popular at the University of Virginia include the Limericks Song, Balls to your Partner, Leprosy, The S&M Man, and Barnacle Bill.
