Shimmer

1991 album by Big Hat. The album is heavy on the ethereal and goth musical themes. This was my first, and still favorite Big Hat CD. For me, each song conveys a very keen sense of loss, anguish, anger, or disdain.

• Erotomania - Very wistful and sad.
• Jesus
• Redline - Angry, and vengeful. It's a song about betrayal.
• Pluck Song
• Flower
• You Lied
• Limousine - A song about a "rich bitch." Chorus is: "She rides a limousine, she'll never take the bus..."
• Leaning Into (western skies) - Urgently sad, if that makes any sense. It's about a relationship that's souring, and souring fast.
• Glossolalia
• Seaside
