The governing body of
humanity in
Robert Heinlein's
science fiction novel
Starship Troopers. It would seem like an odd form of
government to us because while it is essentially a
democracy, only the
veterans have a vote. Non-
veterans can be and are active members of
society, economically speaking.
The military might of the Terran Federation is supplied by the Navy and the Mobile Infantry. Heinlein's novel mainly concentrates on the latter.
