Warhammer Chaos Powers

In the Warhammer games, the Chaos Powers are spiritual manifestations of the darker aspects of human psychology. There are two eternal rivalries among the Chaos Powers: Nurgle vs. Tzeentch, and Khorne vs. Slaanesh. Nurgle and Tzeentch represent opposing paths of corruption along the metaphysical axis (issue) of action, or interrelation. Khorne and Slaanesh represent divergent paths of corruption along the metaphysical axis of sensation, or experience.

One of the fun things about the Chaos Powers is they introduce cartoonish chaos mutations and chaos artifacts into the game.

As well as the four main Chaos Powers, there are also a myriad of lesser Chaos gods. These include Mor'cck, Phraz-Etar and An'sl (mentioned in the wargear section of Warhammer 40k Codex Chaos) and Malal, a rogue Chaos God introduced in the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay book.
