A transition period between Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Webelos earn activity badges, much like the merit badges of Boy Scouts, but they still recite the Cub Scout Promise and the Law of the Pack. They also spend time at Boy Scout summer camps (in some councils). After their first year as a Webelo has gone by, they usually don the khaki shirt of a Boy Scout.
