An annoyingly imprecise tag line from an Intel commercial for the Pentium IV Processor.

Maybe I'm the pathological corner case, but the center of my digital world is my spiffy cable modem, a wonderful invention that lets me do many things, including:

find pr0n dozens of times faster than ever before,
pretend to shoot things (Quake III and Counter-Strike),
receive spam from my mother,
tell my mother-in-law that the i-beam cursor is there for a reason and she should not try to make it go away,
listen to free music I might not otherwise find (Napster),
and node sporadically with Everything.

As far as I can tell, my PC is the edge of my digital world.

Remember well, lest we forget about the connected PC with a CD-ROM. At least the Blue Man Group sucks far less than those damn bunny people with spooky black masks.
