Japanese word for porcupine; a compound word formed of hari (needle) and nezumi (rodent). One of the few accurate words for porcupine, which has an etymology usually meaning either 'spiked pig' or 'hedgehog' in its respective language (including in English), neither of which are at all accurate. And don't even get me started on the respective taxonomy...
