False smiles, white lies, and lately, even everyday speech strives to hide and mask the emotions we feel from the people all around us. Is it from some kind of need to protect them? Or are we just acting like hypocrits?

Sometimes you can feel them, the emotions. Some people call it an Atmosphere, while others just call it vibes. But they are the lucky ones. The aren't empaths. They can only see faint outlines in the fog. There are those who see every line and crack in the human heart, and they cannot do a thing to mend them. Oh no. Nobody must ever break the walls we surround ourselves with.

So we wear the false smiles and the happy faces while we scream inside, falling towards oblivion.
