Karma bracelets are those currently-fashionable things that teenage girls wear if they think they're pregnant and they want fate to be on their side when the test comes through. Actually, most girls wear them because they're pretty and trendy. Supposedly, they're based on some sort of obscure zen/buddhist thing. I do know that my girlfriend broke up with me a week after I bought her one. It obviously didn't help my karma.
