| In professional wrestling, a match wherein the goal is to use a ladder, often of the metallic, 10+ feet in height variaty, to retrieve something... a title belt, for instance... hung above the ring. Obviously, these no-holds-barred matches include liberal use of the ladder as a weapon. These matches were brought into the mainstream by the WWF, when Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, before being main event quality stars, had such a match for the intercontinental championship. |
