Here's a great inside joke that not many people know of (that's what makes it an inside joke).
Remember when Phil Hartman, who played Captain Carl on Pee-Wee's Playhouse, was a regular on Saturday Night Live? Remember the famous Ronald Reagan/Iran-Contra skit? The one in which Reagan turns out to be the only one with brains in the White House and the real mastermind behind Iran-contra?
At one point Hartman/Reagan is on the phone talking to a Middle Eastern leader in what is obviously a made-up language meant to sound like Arabic. In this conversation, Hartman chuckles and repeats the famous incantation from the playhouse.
