A useful item that allows you to control your destination if you are teleported. Note that the ring of teleport control does not actually confer teleportation; it must be worn in conjunction with a ring of teleportation or intrinsic teleportation (aka "teleportitis") to be fully functional. Even without the ring or the intrinsic, you will still be able to control where you go if you are zapped by a wand of teleportation, step on a teleportation trap, or hit with some other teleporting effect.

If you attempt to teleport into a wall or a void, you will instead be randomly teleported.
