The Soft/FX is used to soften up sharp things that are unbecoming in photographs by diffusing light, they will fix minor skin imperfections and give hair a radiant fuzzy glow without any visible hairs (no frizzy hairs).

The Fog Enhancing filter increases the fog effect on the image, and will fog clear images (should not be used in direct sunlight, it just looks like a dirty lens).
