The "tight" part of the phrase generally leads this term to only apply to those who are not flabby or loose (though a loose woman could quite easily have a tight bod), while the "bod" part of the phrase indicates that this is purely an aesthetic quality, and has nothing to do with ones character or personality. The term can be applied to either a male or a female, the difference being that generally the females don't say this phrase loud enough for the recipiant to hear.
