The newly formed Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California is currently comprised of two theme parks(Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure Park), three hotels (the Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel), and a shopping/ dining/ entertainment district (Downtown Disney). Although no official statements on size exist, estimates are that the total resort is approximately 480 acres in size.

There is also a significant amount of rumors which relate to the building of a third theme park at the Anaheim property. These were fed by a Walt Disney Imaganeering web site on the Internet a few years ago with plans to have Phase 1 constuction complete in (as I recall) 2007. However, due in part to the failure of Disney's California Adventure, plans were put on hold, though the company does own the land for the park.
