Veilside is a Japanese car tuning company which produces and sells wheels, body kits, and exhaust systems, primarily for Japanese automobiles. They are highly regarded in all of these capacities. They also have a US facility for the production of body kits.
VeilSide Co., Ltd. was established in September 1990 by Yokomaku Hiranao. The name is derived from Yokomaku's name, "maku" meaning veil, "yoko" meaning side.
VeilSide won the Grand Prize in the Tuned Car Category At the 1991 Tokyo Auto Salon, the first time the company participated in the event.
