Bishop of Bath and Wells is one of the funniest characters in the second
Black Adder series.
He is not only the bishop of Bath and Wells, but also the assistant manager of The Bank of the Black Monks of St. Herod.
Edmund describes the bishop as "the Bishop of Bath and Wells, who drowns babies at their christening and eats them in the vestry afterwards."
Bishop himself says: "You see, I am a colossal pervert. No form of sexual depravity is too low for me. Animal, vegetable or mineral -- I'll do anything to anything."
As you can probably see now, he is a terrifying man who you wouldn't want to be in debt to, would you?
