A great word that is often used by Sangamon Taylor in Neal Stephenson's Zodiac. Similar to telegenic, but refering more to a scene or shot that makes a great media byte. Any image that is loaded with a specific value message is mediapathic. For instance, shots of baby seals and pipes pumping out sludge are both very mediapathic and would be used by environmentalists for PR purposes, although they would be used in different situations for different reasons.
