Winners of the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Academy Award. The Irving G. Thalberg Award is given to a creative producer who has been responsible for a consistently high quality of motion picture production. The Award consists of a bronze head of Irving G. Thalberg.
Only in 1938 were candidates nominated for the Award. In all other years, it was a Honorary Award. The Irving G. Thalberg Award is not handed out every year.
