Hunting was a favourite sport amoung Egypts noblemen. Hunting provided them with excitement, danger, animal skins to hang up, and a good meal.
The animals they hunted for were Wild Bulls, Lions, and Rabbits. The weapons used were spears and bows. The hunters were accompanied by long-legged hunting dogs.

If the hunter wanted to make sure of his hunting success, he would build an enclosure of nets and posts, he would then drive the animal into it, and finally kill the poor animal for leisure.

If you were into hunting on water, the Nile was perfect. Hunters on papyrus boats, could harpoon hippoptamuses and crocodiles, and catch some fish aswell.
