Andros Island is the largest island in the Bahamas. Also one of the most sparsely populated.

A beautiful, unscathed, lush tropical land, it has not yet been turned into a tourist trap. However, the politicians of the Bahamas would like to see it become just like Nassau. Those of us who love the island and it's people would like to see it remain the same, changing only slightly each year.

The people are gentle, kind and generous. They live in true communities where everyone knows and helps everyone else.

Andros is the home of Small Hope Bay Lodge.

Andros is also the home of a secret US Submarine & Sonar testing base called Autec. Don't tell anyone. (Tours available most days with advanced reservations)
