Back up all of your work on your computer, please. E2 does not take ultimate responsibility for storage or retrieval. Sometimes the site is down briefly, other times the server hiccups and you can lose submitted work. E2 does not have any legal responsibility to save your text for you. We do have features which ideally save all work that is deleted and stores it in your Node Heaven for you but even that can fail on occasion with a temporary hiccup or glitch. It's a good idea to keep all of your writeups on some kind of word processor file.
You can use the Node Backup utility to download a zip file of your entire body of work, either as shown by E2 or as entered by you. This file will contain your existing writeups in the form of text files but will not include your scratch pad or Node Heaven content.
