Hardcore calculator users include acolytes of the Hewlett Packard (e.g. HP48) school and of the Texas Instruments (e.g. TI-92) school. These sides perenially engage in flamewars. As a generalization, the cheaper TI calculators are commonly required in high school, whereas the more expensive HP calculators are more common in university. There is no middle ground in this debate; only ceaseless flames directed from one camp to the other. The crux of the debate centers around whether or not RPN is a blessing or a curse.

For reference, the one true faith is hp48 and RPN. Other interpretations are heresy.
