Communist groups have begun to take the term "commie" as a badge of pride, almost like saying "I'm Red and I'm Proud!".However, I still do not like this term due to it's derogatory usage in the past and I get a bit upset if someone uses the term to describe another. It just sounds dirty to me for some reason.
