An important medical sign, especially for emergency medicine. It is the triad of hypertension, bradycardia, and Cheyne-Stokes respiration (irregular breathing) in patients with head injuries.

It is a sign of increasing intracranial pressure and is a warning that some action should be taken reasonably quickly in order to save the patient's life.
