DAK Industries: A defunct cult-like mail-order (mostly) electronics reseller led by the charismatic cult leader Drew Kaplan, specializing in computer stuff, audio stuff, and breakmakers. His catalogs, rife with hyperbole, began with a happy letter from Drew addressed to the DAKonians. For some reason, DAK tasted exactly like Amway; but you could actually get some real cheap electronic gadgets from them, if not top-of-the-line.
