You may be looking at your paycheque and looking at the amount taken off in taxes and things that are not called taxes but are nonetheless money your government takes away from you without your permission and you may be wondering how to get the best value for your tax dollar. Well:

• Become sick often, with diseases which are expensive to cure. Also see your GP often and demand he refer you specialists. (Only works in reasonable countries)
• Require rescuing by the fire department, police and coast guard as often as possible.
• Try to become involved in some sort of international incident, get the diplomatic corps working for you for a change.
• If you can't be in a government funded special interest group, try to be sued by one, going to court costs them money.
• If the spooks haven't already bugged you phone, give them a reason to (Try having 100 copies of The Anarchist's Cookbook delivered to your house along with a set of hydroponics grow lights). Then make sure you give them plenty of work to do by peppering your phone conversations with phrases like conspiracy, communism and Napster.
• Become an industry vital to your country's infrastructure, (big three auto manufacturers) then start making really bad decisions, the government will have no choice but to bail you out.
