Caught in a crawl space
I thought I saw God
His visage muddied and black
Wracked with scaly, squirming arthropods

Immortality banal
Evanescence beautiful
I wrote this in blood
So they could understand my pitiful

Peeking through the window shade
Palms sweaty
Sharpening an archangel, argentate
One melody playing, weepy susurration Everglades

The neighbor's kid wanted to play, today (I made him milk and cookies)
Put on Who Framed Roger Rabbit
The newspapers are always concerned
They read, "--a man lost and rabid.."
