The original Foxy Brown. Born 5/26/49, beautiful Pam Grier came into the international spotlight in the 70s, acting in so-called blaxploitation films like: Coffy, Foxy Brown, Friday Foster, Scream Blacula Scream and Black Mama, White Mama. Grier's characters were the epitome of the liberated sexy female and they kicked a hell of a lot of ass --usually belonging to The Man. Although her movies made millions of dollars and she was easily one of the top box office draws of the mid 1970s, Pam's career fell into a slump by the time the 80s rolled around. She occasionally showed up playing supporting roles in films like Mars Attacks and Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, but it wasn't until Quentin Tarantino gave her the title role in 1997s Jackie Brown that she was able to make a comeback. With that film's success, Pam was able to land roles in bigger budget films like 1999s In Too Deep. She currently has her own television show on Showtime called Lincs.
