Character played by the lovely Liam Neeson in the first Star Wars prequel, Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace. He and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) recruit young Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd) for Jedi training. &Qui-Gon is probably the sexiest piece of Jedi ever to wield a light saber.
