| Sandy Denny's big shot at rock's mass audience was her duet with Robert Plant on this acoustic number from Led Zeppelin's untitled fourth album (Side 1, Track 3, immediately prior to Stairway To Heaven -- can't get better exposure than that). The title and much of the lyric refer to Lord Of The Rings. Echoed, riffing mandolins dominate the intrumental. Overall it has a mystical, vaguely spooky tone that that AOR/"classic rock" radio likes to save for after midnight.
