London Underground (tube) line. The newest line, built completely from scratch, opened in the early 1970s.

Coloured light blue on the tube map it runs in a roughly north-south direction with no branches.

London Underground Line linking Walthamstow in the north-east of London to Brixton in the south. As Iain justly notes, this is the newest tube line. On the standard tube map, this line appears as a light blue shade.

Connections to National Rail services at Walthamstow Central, Blackhorse Road, Tottenham Hale, Seven Sisters, Finsbury Park, Highbury and Islington, King's Cross St Pancras for King's Cross and St Pancras, Euston, Victoria, Vauxhall and Brixton (short walk).
