Officially known as the National Military Command Center - the nation's military communications hub. It's located in the Joint Chiefs of Staff area in the Pentagon building. See also Dr. Strangelove and War Games, as well as the current issue of Wired for a piece on another military communications center (an issue I bought for the Spumco cover). Also a room in my former building, presumably for meetings.
