Sadly, bipartisan has become another meaningless buzz word in American politics. Either side will often spew it out whenever given the chance. It is most often used when accusing the other party of being partisan, something that is considered bad in political rhetoric.
In reality, very little done on the national scale can be bipartisan, as the two parties disagree on just about everything. |
