A traffic light setup in which one direction of a road gets a green light while the other direction has to wait a little while longer for it. This is so that people coming from the first direction can make a turn across the lane of the people coming from the second direction without causing an accident. If you see a sign that says "delayed green", that means that yours is the direction that has to wait.
