A technique to achieve tight turns. The Flick with feeling. Begin with a very slight turn, then apply the handbrake momentarily which locks the rear wheels and induces a skid. With practice, this can be used to make sudden, arbitrary turns (especially on slick surfaces). In extreme form this maneuver results in the infamous Bootlegger turn aka Bootlegger Reverse. Used by The Dukes of Hazzard in 'most every show.
