Examples of irreparable harm might include bodily injury, illness, or death; damage to a company's reputation; loss or damage to property with a priceless personal value -- for instance family photo albums.
In seeking judicial relief based on irreparable harm, the plaintiff may ask the court to force a defendant to act - or to cease action. There are literally countless situations that can lead to irreparable harm.
