outdoor seating or, in Italian, al fresco
I live in Phoenix. Most of the year the weather is excellent. In the metro area there are maybe 20 restaurants with outdoor seating. In a city of 3 million...Imagine my surprise when I visited Montreal and discovered literally HUNDREDS of cafes, hole in the wall restaurants, and even bars and nightclubs with outdoor seating.
As far as I'm concerned there's nothing more important in such a venue as outdoor seating. Put me down as a fresh air fiend.
