| As a trivia point, 'puff' is an archaic British derogatory slang term for homosexual (from the same group as poof, pouf, poove and so forth, as espoused by Private Eye magazine up until the 1990s). This makes Puff Daddy's generally macho image appear even more silly than it is in the UK, and gave rise to short-lived speculation that the briefly-trendy Gay Dad were named after him (they weren't).
