affectionate synonym for schmidt's beer. the brand most often on sale at safeway and, hence, the brand that accounts for the majority of beer cans seen around campus. also popular with high school students in rural areas and alcoholics with no delusions. note that while schmidty is has an acceptable level of nastiness, schmidt ice is supremely foul and should not be ingested by anyone, ever.
