In rock music, a band made up of already-established stars - not to be confused with an "all-star" band, which tends to be a one-off thing. Coined to describe Blind Faith, an unintentionally short-lived late-60s group. The term can be used to describe any such assemblage, even if one's "stardom" is relative: anyone remember Lords of the New Church?
