They seem to come out of nowhere, and their fame usually lasts about as long as a semester of school, sometimes longer. They seem to appeal to ages 9-14. They have their faces on stickers, diaries, and keychains. They usually grace the pages of magazines like Bop, Teen Beat, and Tiger Beat.
