A movie starring Madonna and Rupert Everett.

Story:
Abby, a 30+ woman (Madonna) has bad luck with men. In other words, they keep dumping her. One drunken day spent romping around with her gay best friend (Rupert Everett), he accidentally impregnates her. Disregarding the advice of friends and family, they decide to raise the child together.

Now the movie just skips forward to their son Sam's 7th year. Complications arise when Abby finds a love interest, Ben (Played by Benjamin Bratt). The ensuing custody battle, etc. follow a reasonably predictable path to a soppy, tears-in-your-eyes ending, complete with a ride into the sunset.

Opinion:
I went to see this movie to see Madonna act. Not a splendid display, to say the least. Still, I did purchase the soundtrack, and the movie gets more points than it deserves because of Rupert Everett.
