sweet spot of support - a mile wide, an inch deep. The phrase can mean damn near anything, but it's a sure winner, since it exploits either the
greed ("fewer deadbeats == more $ for me!") or the
racism of voters. Or both. The
media trots out a "success story" or two, but to see the Real Deal of
all those at the receiving end would be like
