| I make my home in the bohemian Capital Hill neighborhood of Seattle, where I live with my love smileloki and our cat, Saga.
I am employed as a software engineer and all-around IT person for SourceLabs, a startup company which provides support for open source software. I'm also a candidate for a Masters of Communication in Digital Media degree at the University of Washington, where I am working on a new approach to journalism that takes better advantage of the interactive nature of the Web. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in creative writing from Western Washington University, obtained June 2001.
In my infrequent spare time, I write science fiction and fantasy, and sometimes code as well. I used to be heavily involved with the local goth scene, but I don't get out much these days.
I don't LARP much any more, as Real Life has gotten complicated and interesting. These days I can still be found at Club Mercury in Seattle, though sometimes I do still make it up to my old haunts in Bellingham.
