I'm a senior at a high school in the Deep South (Alabama). I'm heading for Massachusetts in July. My uncle Jack is going to pay me to be his personal assistant. (Lucky me.) Probably means I'll be answering phones and getting coffee and all the stuff his executive secretary won't do. (Ehem.) But at least I'm gonna get paid for it. (Every summer before now I've been my Mom's "personal assistant" and all I've gotten so far is thirty bucks a week -- plus gas money and room and board and . . . never mind.)
