The philosopher Plato wrote a series of philosophical treatises in the form of dialogues (see Socratic method, Adversarial process, debate, epistemology). Best-known is the Republic. Others are the Apology,
Charmides, Cratylus, Critias, Crito, Euthydemus, Euthyphro, Gorgias, Ion, Laches, Laws, Lysis, Meno, Parmenides, Phaedo, Phaedrus, Philebus, Protagoras, Sophist, Statesman, Symposium, Theateatus, and Timaeus.
