| Computer hobbyist since school days (BBC Micro). Never wanted to program professionally, but can't resist the temptation to keep coding useful little progs.
Education: BSc and PhD in Physics from Liverpool University. Occupation: I do digital electronic design for a living (Just Another VHDL Hacker) at a small company where no-one tells me The Right Way to go about things. Which is good and bad. Philosophical inclination: Atheist with Discordian/Church of Euthenasia leanings. Also parent of 2, so I've rather dismally failed as the latter. |
