In modern Chess slang, a "Botez Gambit" is a humorous way to refer to an unintentional loss of a queen. The joke is that the unintentional loss of a queen, which is a great difficulty even for good players, is part of an intentional, preplanned gambit. It was named after popular chess streamer Alexandra Botez, who was prone to making this mistake. At times, some top-ranked chess players, such as Hikaru Nakamura have done speedruns where they build a high rating on a smurf account while using a "Botez Gambit" in every game.
