Adrenaline is the name used in the USA for the neurotransmitter/hormone which Europeans call epinephrine. Hence, "noradrenaline" is just another name for the neurotransmitter norepinephrine.
A neurotransmitter of the central and autonomic (sympathetic) nervous systems. Structurally similar to (and a synthetic precursor of) adrenaline, missing the N-methyl group.
Regarding enkidu's contribution, I understood people outside the US were only compelled to use the terms `nor/epinephrine' because the word `adrenaline' was a trademark (registered by an American, no doubt)!
